As the title states, quartz is way more robust than purely mechanical watches. The less moving parts the better right?

0 For sure, quartz rules the bunch. Still I have as much quartz as mechanicals - hand wound and automatic. Why is that?

0 Yup, have to get me a G-shock. That way I can have a car run me over and still know at what time and date this happened (insurance policy).
