Ok, this looks very dramatic but it is not so bad. I just think rubber is so uncomfortable, it is a pressure band around the wrist. Only the Z22 Seiko rubber does not do this because of its venting system. But a flat strap is just the worst imho.

I tend to agree here, moreover: why are these straps so long? We usually dive with thin suits on or without - lets get real.

Perlon over rubber anytime. It does not feel so sweaty and is waterproof. It also provides the option to use it like a nato, what more can you want?
