Seiko Lordmatic 5606-5000
Hi all, this one is not mine (yet). Looking to buy one. What do you think?

[attachment=539][attachment=540][attachment=541]

And this is what it would look like when I am done with it - serviced and all. Pics nicked from the internet.

It was of course widely advertised.... for the up and coming businessman..

Seiko King Quartz 9223-5000
"Silver dial" as a description for this gorgeous watch doesn't cut it - it has developed an ever so fine dial patina. And just look at the reed finish of the bracelet and the general fresh looks of this big Big Quartz from 1981 (one of the last KQ's). It appears brand new, it only has had a full movement service. So now it can last another 36 years, right?

FS: Seiko King Quartz 9223-5000
SOLD - 295 euro firm price, to your doorstep. This "silver dial" twin quartz from 1981 - the last of the line. Just look at the reed finish of the still very tight bracelet and the general fresh looks of this big Big Quartz . It appears brand new, it only has had a full movement service from Jan Ubels (look him up, he is well known). So now it can last another 36 years, right?
Price wise this is a steal, full service costing 120 euro, new crystal... so what do you actually pay for the watch wit

FS: Seiko King Quartz 5855-5000 Roman Dial
Asking 200 euro shipped, a Seiko KQ from 1977, runs +0.1 seconds a day! Roman dial with the unique Seiko solution for the IV - namely .... IIII This was done for the balance on the dial between 4 and 8.
It is still a beautiful dial with a natural light patina, that is, not locally discolored by the sun but by a uniform aging of the material. "tropical dial watches" are very popular among collectors ... grab your chance!
