Another watch site? What's the difference over here?

Hi all, it is scorching hot over here. Well, actually is is like a tropical jungle - and I find that a lot of watches become unwearable right now. Except for my Ball GMT (yes, the same one as Seikoman).

So, what are you wearing in very hot weather?

Just noticed that you always need a gasket to seal it. So a push crown will do the job nicely for us that only shower or swim.

Just trying to get the GS boys to come out of the woodwork  - A GS, that is just a Seiko in my opinion because it too uses the typical fanatical Seiko finishing technique. Well, maybe the zaratsu is different... Finally, is the GS mechanical really that much better than the King Seiko?

Many people confuse the issue, Chinese watches are not all about the reps.... Homages, just like other, well established brands produce, are the honorable thing they do. And, they do it for a fraction of the price. So, it may be worth your while to check out the products they are offering and evaluate its worth. Because, inevitably one starts to wonder why the Swiss or Japanese put such a price tag on their watches.
